“^{We wanted to focus on the students’ stories on how they were going up all the challenges they encountered. They [picked] a certain event in their life and they [turned] it into a collection, so it’s really personal,” Ms. Tracey Tabora, FDM Academic Adviser}

“I decided to give recognition to Filipina farmers especially knowing that they are considered as the second poorest workforce in the Philippines. Their work ethics and courage to face the harsh working conditions of everyday have to be recognized. This collection is also a tribute to my mother, Dhjanna, who is a true representation of a strong hardworking Filipina woman. She taught me how to gain courage and patience as well as appreciating life even in the midst of adversity.”
